Studio Policies
I reserve the right to amend, update or revise these policies when necessary. I try my best to create policies that are reasonable to families, and sustainable for my business.

Payment

Full month's payment is to be made before every 10th of the month.
There will be 44 lessons in one year, monthly fees are averaged and the same every month, no matter the number of lessons in the month. Studio closures are already accounted for.
A late penalty of $10 will be imposed for payment on the 11th or later.
A late penalty of $20 will be imposed for payment on the 13th or later.
Bank transfer (POSB 198-57384-1) and Paylah/Paynow (96213748) are accepted.
Important: Please include your child's name for the transfer, then send a screenshot of the receipt via whatsapp.

Replacements

6 missed lessons will be replaced with no charge in a calendar year.
Availability of replacement lessons depends on teacher.
Please schedule replacements ahead of time (eg. for planned holidays).
Subsequent missed lessons (7th cancellation onwards) will be forfeited with no refund.
If you would like the 7th & onwards cancellation replaced, a separate lesson fee will be charged.
There will be no rollover of unused replacement lessons to the following year.
Please input the date in your calendar as you may not receive a reminder message, and missed replacements will be forfeited.

Teacher initiated replacements:

Lessons missed by teacher will definitely be replaced and will not be counted into your quota.
The lesson will be refunded if teacher is unable to replace.
As a gesture of appreciation for accommodating, 2 additional replacement lessons may be added to your annual allowance at the teachers' discretion.

Temporary pausing of lessons (e.g PSLE/ extended holidays)

30 days of notice is required.
Lessons can be paused for a maximum of 3 months.
A one-month tuition deposit is required before the break. This deposit will be used to offset against the fees when lessons resume (i.e no need to pay for that month that you are back).
A slot retention fee of 1 lesson per month of absence will apply (e.g if one lesson is $65 and lessons are paused for 2 months, the non-refundable holding fee will be $130).
You will return to the same lesson slot upon resuming.
If lessons are not resumed within said period, the slot will be released and deposit will be forfeited.
If you decide to resume lessons earlier than communicated, the slot retention fee will not be refunded, and monthly lesson fees will be charged accordingly.
