Studio Policies
Payment
- Full month's payment is to be made before every 10th of the month
- There will be 44 lessons in one year, monthly fees are averaged and the same every month, no matter the number of lessons in the month. Studio closures are already accounted for.
- A late penalty of $20 will be imposed for payment on the 10th or later.
- Cash, bank transfer (POSB 198-57384-1) and Paylah/Paynow (96213748) are accepted
- Important: Please include your child's name for the transfer, then send a screenshot of the receipt via whatsapp
Replacements
- 6 missed lessons will be replaced with no charge in a calendar year
- Availability of replacement lessons depends on teacher
- Please schedule replacements ahead of time (eg. for planned holidays)
- Subsequent missed lessons (7th cancellation onwards) will be forfeited with no refund
- There will be no rollover of unused replacement lessons to the following year
- Missed replacements will also be considered a missed lesson
- Same day cancellations will not be replaced
- Lessons missed by teacher will definitely be replaced or refunded
For lessons in student’s homes:
- Replacement lessons only available during school holiday mornings
Temporary pausing of lessons (e.g PSLE/ extended holidays)
- 30 days of notice is required
- Lessons can be paused for a maximum of 3 months
- A one month tuition deposit is required before the break. This deposit will be used to offset against the fees when lessons resume (i.e no need to pay for that month that you are back)
- A slot retention fee of 1 lesson per month of absence will apply (e.g if one lesson is $65 and lessons are paused for 2 months, the non-refundable holding fee will be $130)
- You will return to the same lesson slot upon resuming
- If lessons are not resumed within said period, the slot will be released and deposit will be forfeited
Termination
- 30 days of notice is required
